How far in advance should I get travel vaccinations?
We recommend scheduling your travel health consultation at least 6-8 weeks before your departure date. Some vaccines require multiple doses over several weeks, and it can take time for immunity to develop. However, even if your trip is sooner, it’s still worth visiting us as some vaccines can be given as late appointments.
Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?
While we do accept walk-in patients, we recommend booking an appointment to ensure you receive prompt service and that the required vaccines are in stock. You can easily book online through our website or call us directly.
How do I know which vaccines I need for my destination?
During your travel health consultation, our pharmacist will assess your vaccination needs based on your destination, length of stay, activities planned, and your current medical and vaccination history. We follow the latest guidelines from NaTHNaC and the World Health Organisation.
Are your vaccines safe and approved?
Yes, all vaccines we administer are fully approved and licensed by the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency). They are stored and handled according to strict pharmaceutical guidelines to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Do you provide Yellow Fever certificates?
Yes, we are an approved Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre. After receiving your Yellow Fever vaccine, we will issue you an International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP), which is valid for the life of the person vaccinated and may be required for entry to certain countries.
